House of Hope
Man Peduli Bangsa House of Hope is a house for pediatric patients with Hydrocephalus, Spina Bifida, and Epilepsy during their treatment. As we know, treatment for these patients requires a long and close supervision before and after surgery. Therefore, this house is expected to be able to help parents who are less fortunate and live far from Adam Malik Hospital so that they can continue to supervise their children during treatment.
Our house of hope has actively operating since November 2024 and has provided services to more than 50 patients during their treatment. Even with all the limited funds, we still commit to providing basic food assistance to patients in the house such as rice, oil, eggs, children's milk as well as disposable materials for patients such as pampers and bedclothes. This House also has a caretaker who helps serve patients and maintain the house.
Aida, lovingly known as Mama Ario, is the heart and caretaker of our House of Hope. She once had a special child named Ario, who passed away to a better place a year ago. Despite her loss, Mama Ario continues to dedicate herself to supporting other parents of children with special needs. Today, she lives in our House of Hope, where she nurtures and cares for the children as her own.
